You may be happy possessing a pair of binoculars for your use. Distant objects are no more far away and you can have a look at them like you are having a view of the nearest things, at times with the minute details. However it is important to know the perfect use of the instrument so that the instrument lives a long life and gives you the perfect service.

If the instrument is handled with due care, it will give you long and trouble free service. Like any other delicate instrument, your binocular also requires protection.  The same principle applies to other instruments like the spotting scopes or rifle scopes.

Storing binoculars with the eyecups made of rubber on will avoid stress and prevent unwarranted wear and tear. It will also protect the lenses from dust and other unusable particles that can damage them. You should also try to avoid banging or dropping of the instrument as far as practicable because such actions may damage your instrument at times beyond repair.

Do not view the sun directly through the view finder. Always adjust your rangefinder in such a manner that your focus is not directly in line with the sun. Store your binoculars in a dry and cool environment and never stuck them in your automobile where the temperatures are liable to fluctuate frequently. This may damage the optical lenses of the instrument. Handling with care is always essential for any instrument and so it is for your binoculars.
